Why we are rallying:
We’ve always shown up for each other. It’s how we’ve made so much progress as a community.
Despite that, our hard-won freedoms are under attack and have never been equally enjoyed. It’s time to show up, unite, and make it clear: We will not back down. We will not give an inch, because hate has no place in our lives and future.
When they come for one of us, they come for all of us. On Friday, June 20, we come together to support each other and demand a world where our lives, our identities, and our rights are not up for debate.
We’ve seen the rise of trans erasure, racism, and scapegoating across Canada, the U.S., and around the world. This is nothing new. We’ve been here before. We have won before.
Our fight isn’t over until every right we’ve earned becomes a lived reality for – not some – but all of us. We are not alone. We call on our allies — because 2SLGBTQ+ rights are refugee rights, worker rights, trans rights, and human rights. We are strongest when we are united in solidarity. Join us.
